Joy and Devon’s Engagement Shoot
This was a very unusual engagement shoot. Joy and Devon are both very creative and when looking for a Los Angeles Engagement Photographer they had a clear vision of what they wanted for their engagement shoot – “faux post apocalyptic” was the theme. Everything that you expect an engagement shoot to be – this wasn’t! To prepare they put together impressive outfits – complete with arrows and even a machete!
After considering many ideas they decided that they wanted their shoot to be out in the forest somewhere – with some ruins… On a baking hot labour day we hiked up into the forest in search of the mysterious ruins.
When we arrived it was well worth the effort – the location could not have been better! We found discarded bits of metal, old fireplaces, ovens, remains of rooms and graffiti all surrounded by trees. And surprisingly for labour day – we seemed to be the only ones there! Perfect.
