As a Los Angeles Engagement Photographer I am fortunate to get the chance to meet some wonderful couples and visit a wide variety of locations. On this occasion I drove to meet SuZan and Chris in Torrance. They live in this gorgeous area surrounded by pretty wisteria covered terraces and the light was just gorgeous. After taking portraits at their home we went to the local park which provided so many opportunities. Despite the lake area being really popular on this weekend I managed to choose my moment and avoid the crowds – in some portraits it looks like we were the only ones there so mission accomplished!
As afternoon turned in evening everything was bathed in warm golden light and we enjoyed shooting until sunset. The last area to catch my “creative eye” was the simple grey steps as we left the park. I was drawn to the architecural lines and monochromatic tones that made my subject – SuZan and Chris pop out of the frame.
