“Umbrella Friends” used in artwork for book cover of “Pearl of China” by Anchee Min
Last year my image “Umbrella Friends” was sold to Bloomsbury publishers to be used in the artwork for a book cover for “Pearl of China”. Many months ad passed and I was begining to wonder what had happened to it. That was until a friend emailed me a photograph of a poster for the book that she had spotted at Waterloo train station in London. So I kept my eyes open for the poster….and was thrilled to find another poster at Waterloo! Later that week, I noticed the book in Waterstone’s and couldn’t resist taking this photograph and of course, buying the book.
